I have been an HCPSS teacher for 19 years. I have spent the past two years as a building representative and help to develop and pilot the Staff Advisory Council.  As an elementary art teacher for 21 years, spouse to a classroom teacher for 16 years, and an NEH Summer Scholar,I think I have an interesting perspective that guides my decisions on the Board and as a rep as I can see issues from multiple sides.  I’ve been active in HCEA throughout my career, but especially over the last 8 years.  I’ve enjoyed the previous two years on the Board and would love to serve members for another two.
