NEA Director Run Off Election

Tanya and Irene are your Howard County colleagues running to represent you.

Tanya Johnson Martin

As a veteran teacher, I am very interested in getting involved at the national level on issues and items which are presently impacting education. During this divisive time in America, it is critical to ensure that equity and diversity are at the center of what takes place in our educational system.

Irene Williams

I have been a member of HCEA, MSEA and NEA for 17 years. I am a building Rep and have represented HCEA members at the MSEA convention, Spring RA and the National Rep. Assembly. I am currently a Related Arts teacher (Family and Consumer Science) in Howard County.

Thank you for your vote!

Theresa from Prince George’s County is running to represent you as well.

Please vote for Theresa Mitchell Dudley for NEA Director. My experience as an elementary and middle school teacher and past leadership roles at PGCEA and MSEA will allow me to represent you on the state and NEA Boards. We have work to do nationally concerning public school policy changes we are feeling from the Every Student Succeed Act. I would like to continue my work on Community Schools, Restorative Justice, Trauma Informed Schools, and the recommendations from the Kirwin Commission. Please vote in the Special Run-off which ends March 22. My heart is with you and our public schools.
